The Golf Society's Mission is to grow the game of golf in a fun, social, inclusive setting with events influenced by Golf. Our goal is to put a club in as many peoples hands as possible and show them that there are so many different ways of connecting to the game that haven't been done. Golfer or not, we want you to grab your friends, socialize, compete and have fun on and off the golf course.
This year The Golf Society is supporting and raising funds for our friends and their 3 year old daughter Ellie. Ellie is a sweet, hilarious, & brilliant little 3 year old girl. She's just mastered riding her bike, loves playing outside & dressing up as a princess, now Ellie needs our help
Ellie had a routine MRI on July 9, 2018, that showcased some devastating news. Ellie has been diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), an extremely rare and aggressive brain tumor. This has undoubtedly rocked her family.
An inoperable brain tumor was the last thing they expected to hear. Kids diagnosed with this have a less than 1% survival rate & her prognosis is terminal, but we believe in miracles and aren't giving up with out a FIGHT!
Funds will go towards supporting the family as they explore international treatments to find the best options for Ellie's care, reducing the family’s financial stressors as a result of prolonged hospital stays & additional costs of holistic treatment to support Ellie's fight.
